This integration delivers the flexibility, convenience, and enhanced monitoring and control of Honeywell customers’ Liftmaster and ChamberlainmyQ-enabled connected garage door openers. “Integrating with Honeywell’s Total Connect is another important step in delivering the depth and breadth of functionality smart-home users seek,” said Cory Sorice, vice president and general manager of Emerging Business at Chamberlain Group. “We look forward to continuing to expand and innovate with tech and maket leaders to make the connected home a reality for every household.”

Wherever you are, a myQ garage can be there when you can’t through the Total Connect app. With myQ, you can let your neighbor in to check on your house when you’re away. And myQ can close the garage for you when you suddenly remember you left it open. myQ® truly makes people’s lives easier.

Providing access to Chamberlain and LiftMaster’s myQ-enabled connected products is another expansion of the Honeywell Total Connect ecosystem, giving users more options to control their connected home. The Honeywell Total Connect app puts the control and management of customer’s security systems and other devices including lights, locks, video and more, on mobile devices. Through the Honeywell Total Connect app, users have the ability to:

  • Monitor and control myQ connected openers
  • Open and close doors remotely
  • Receive open and close activity alerts

“As consumers become more reliant on their mobile devices to control their homes, the integration of Chamberlain and LiftMaster myQ technology in the Total Connect app gives them more flexibility to manage their home from one single app,” said Scott Harkins, vice president and general manager, Honeywell Homes. “Consumers can now use the Honeywell Total Connect app to control their connected devices, and really begin to experience the value of the connected home.”
