Chamberlain Group Hosts Inaugural Strategic Supplier Executive Conference
Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor Co and Smurfit Kappa Honored at Awards Dinner
OAK BROOK, Ill., October 26, 2023 – Smart access leader and Blackstone portfolio company, Chamberlain Group (CG), hosted its inaugural Strategic Supplier Executive Conference on October 24. Global drivetrain manufacturer, Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor Co Ltd, (Broad Ocean) and global packaging leader, Smurfit Kappa Group, were honored for their strategic contributions to CG’s growth and success.
Broad Ocean was named the 2023 Strategic Supplier of the Year, an award that recognizes a supplier for their contributions by sharing risk, and for their long-term relationship that supports and advances our strategic objectives. Smurfit Kappa Group was given the 2023 Strategic Supplier Innovation Award, which recognizes a supplier who created substantial new value within the CG supply chain through new technologies and/or processes.

The Strategic Supplier Executive Conference will be held annually to gather CG’s top suppliers for relevant discussions and panels on topics affecting business and supply chains. The Conference is followed by an awards dinner.
