myQ Community Partners with Allegion and RemoteLock to Support Smart Locks with Offline Capabilities
OAK BROOK, IL., March 23, 2026 Chamberlain Group’s myQ® Community today announced new integrations with Allegion and RemoteLock, expanding its smart access ecosystem to include support for smart locks with offline capabilities. Through this partnership, myQ Community now supports select Schlage in-unit smart locks with offline capabilities, giving multifamily properties more ways to deliver secure, connected access within a single platform. Property managers can now manage both connected and offline in-unit smart locks through myQ Community, even in areas without internet.
This enhancement builds on myQ Community’s mission to create a seamless, end-to-end access experience across an entire property. Offline smart locks function independently of Wi-Fi, handling credential management, access control, and event logging entirely without the need for an internet connection. Residents can use a physical credential like a fob or their smartphone to unlock their own apartment door regardless of internet connectivity, eliminating the need for managed WiFi‑ and reducing infrastructure costs.
“Our goal has always been to simplify access for communities of every size,” said Mariam Walker, senior director of community sales, myQ Community. “By adding support for offline smart locks from trusted partners like Allegion and RemoteLock, we’re giving property managers more flexibility and offering residents a consistent seamless experience. This integration reinforces our commitment to delivering a unified access platform that works, even when the internet doesn’t.”
“When technology leaders collaborate around real operational needs, true innovation follows,” said Barclay Friesen, SVP, partner sales, RemoteLock. “By enabling myQ Community's application with the ability to control Schlage no tour locks, RemoteLock is helping deliver a more connected and scalable approach to access control for the multifamily market.”
